just puttin a tiny split shot over an ol circle hook.....nothin fancy....but the drop shot does sound like a good idea
thanks, just ribbin u a little about rig.again real nice looking fish.
this one shows her girth a little better....and thanks southern
i showed the guys at work today ur fish and one said you told him about it sunday nite,we all agreed nice fish.u guys are tougher than me it has been too cold and no good place to put in boat.i did see the dock at lone valley today is useable gain.i hte dry docking on rocks at ramp 1.
i barely managed to keep er off the rocks at ramp 1....the stationary dock there was the worst idea ever....it even got almost unusable this past summer when the water dropped....they need to look into a new idea....where do you work and i can prolly tell ya who it was
u should know by my board name,my job involves getting wet and stinky.![]()
yea,it aint bad when the water is at summer pool,or you got a partner that can just jump in boat at ramp.but with just my son it is not good and last time out i scratched the crap out of my new boat.on a side note my son asked when we was strapping down and gettin ready to leave why 2 men was kissing.they really need to do something bout the funny bunnys.![]()
A lot cheaper to cach your own bait. try a seine or a trap they work great
we did catch our own that day....creek minnows seem to stay alive better than the store bought ones
and i agree with southern....something has to be done about the locals down there at ramp 1....rarely will you find me down there without protection...don't even like comin off the water after dark if their isn't a tournament goin on down there
A KeelGuard will solve all problems on scratching your boats. If you dont have one it is well worth the 150.00 to put it on.I never tie up at the dock, always pull the boat onto the ramp with no scratches. The other problem well I dont have a suggestion for it,but they need to do something more to resolve it.
