    Re: Seaguar AbrazX Fluorocarbon Line

Thanks for the report fellas. I think I'll stick with Invizx that has not fail me for the past 3 years now.

    Re: Seaguar AbrazX Fluorocarbon Line

I been using Abrarx for 5 weeks now. Love it! I been throwing DT3 with 20lb test and it has been great. No problems and it is so smooth right off the spool, unlike transition or even some plines(which is stiffer). I am a week away from coming down to barkley for the a week will have 12-20lb test in the boat. The water has been very clear up here and have caught alot of fish on fireline crystal with a 8lb invis-x leader throwing a jerkbait. But the AbrarX I been rubbin docks, lifts and big flat rock with that square bill and it has been super. Going to try it crankin 12lb abrarX tomorrow if the water is dingy enough. I think it is a very smooth and doesn't nick up easy. Worth the $.

I replied earlier and work the lines hard yesterday for about 12 hours. The 12lb was fine crankin did notice any either way. But two things I did notice. I broke off 3 times C-riggin lizards on 15lb abrazX and not at the knot. All different places about the weight. i think mainly where the tungsten weight meet the line at the top of the weight. I fish c-rigs shallower than most and I like to feel every flat rock and log and the difference between them. I didn't have this breakage problem last year with 17lb pline halo. Maybe I should be going heavier again?
The other was flippin a beaver style bait on 20lb AbrazX up under docks with brushpile backed in the shallow docks. No break but chewed up after 1-2 fish. And after fishing it for about a hour or 2 straight the line felt real dry of maybe stiffing the longer I used it maybe? Hope this helps.

Tried the Abrazx and broke off several times with it. I honestly was not impressed and will be using PLine from now on. Have not tried the Invisx and Vicious does have too much memory.
