Watching NBC and Matt Lauer at breakfast? That's a tough way to start the day Don. Watching NBC, particularly Lauer is enough to make a feller hark up a biscuit.
I strongly disagree with government bailouts for any industry(made me laugh when ole Mark wrote he got so mad about it he almost passed out) but there is certainly more to come. The seal's been cracked on that bottle, and now their all lining up to get a pull. Everyone from banks to Vegas gambling concerns are needing a government bailout.
You think the government is throwing our money away now, you ain't seen nothing yet. After Jan 20th the federal government will hang another a trillion dollars of debt on the taxpayers while the news media fawns over the Democrat party. Soon enough the news media will insinuate racist motives to anyone who questions our President's actions. Think I'm a nut for saying that? Anyone care to place a wager?
The majority have spoken and given the liberals total control of the federal government. Feels sorta like having an idealistic teenager in charge of your check book and life decisions. I'm hoping for the best, but can't shake the feeling of dread. It's painful to think of this great country devolving into a clone of some mediocre European style democracy with 60% tax rates and the government playing the role of primary caregiver.
