That first goal line stand did the Sooners in. Instead of doing a bootleg or a play-action to the tight end ole' BigGameBob decided he was going to just pound the ball in and show the Gators how big and bad his running game was. Well that worked when Florida wasn't totally selling out to the run. A different play call would have been an easy touchdown and the game could have went the other way.

I loved seeing Tebow get that flag from doing the GATOR CHOMP! He was fired up and that's what the crowd and the team was looking for. Yep the 4th best proved even he can get lucky huh?

Ya know I don't like the over the top celebartion stuff and a flag is just in these
situations but these refs I think are getting a little carried away. I mean use some descretion,a kid can't even act happy after a play anymore. If you are obviously taunting and rubbing your adversary's nose in it alright, but Geeze let the kids have a little fun for Heaven's sake. Maybe it's just me?

Man, Mark and I had the same thought about these two high scoring teams but I guess these Coaches pushed the Defense so hard that the Offense suffered. This wasn't one of the better games by the officials. The game clock doo-hickey thingamajig stopped the game way too many times.
It's been fun at work today since I have an OU fan on staff, all he could do was smile when I gave him the Gator Chomp!
Hopefully we can all get together and share one of those Barley pops that Jim has made famous! Have a great weekend guys!!

Well another assistant coach has left the Cards team. So far 4 asst. coaches have left the program...Now that's coaches believing in a program, up and leave when the rough gets going..... Bail out time, but heck can you blame a guy for going to Notre Dame vs staying at U of L and being part of klugthorpe's crew.....Nope I think not........
