Any of you ever visit this place? Mark it's in your backyard ain't it? Ole' Brian Q. and I have been checking it out. The place looks great and being an indoor range is great this time of year.

Is that the firing range in Crestwood? If it is it is very expensive to shoot. i think it is $26.00 an hour. It was real nice and you can shoot rifles or pistols but a little too high for me.
Yeah, it's a little pricier there, but I want to go there for the moving pistol target sequences....I'll pay a little more for that. If I just want to shoot stationary paper indoors, Bud's in Paris is just fine and a bit cheaper.
Don, I'm ready for Saturday...my 1911 is trying to free itself from the zipped case as we speak, it's so anxious to make fire/smoke/holes. lol
Looks like rain/snow on Saturday...
HAHA I bet that trigger finger is wore out from the twitching....Yeah it's looking like a road trip coming up! That moving pistol target should be pretty cool.Yeah, it's a little pricier there, but I want to go there for the moving pistol target sequences....I'll pay a little more for that. Don I have yet to go in that place because I have access to shoot on our hunting property whenever I want. But we did some work for that guy and he is top notch. Everybody that goes in there has nothing but good things to say, that's really all I know about it. I pass it everday on my way to and from work.
No, I had to take a rifle course at Ft. Knox and wanted a little before I went.
That place is about 1.5 mi down from my place. It is a bit expensive but VERY nice.
Sunday I am heading up to northern KY to pick up a beautiful AKS-74, Mark, so you said you got a place to shoot huh?
I got out shooting sports about three years ago and kicking my self for it ever since cause I sold off a bunch of "politically incorrect" weapon and mags.
Since the election Ive started to build up my collection again of those evil firearms. In the last few weeks, besides the new AKS-74 I have to go pick up, Ive purchased an SAR-1 (the good Romanian AKM-47 clone), some extra 30 round mags for it and correct Romanian military issue folding stock as well as a Romanian military 75round drum and also a Remington 870 wingmaster with FACTORY Remington top folding stock stamped "Law Enforment Only."
No hand gun yet, waiting to build up a few thousand rounds of 5.45x39mm for the -74 and then after taxes come in, its time to pick up a hand gun or two!![]()
It's a curse! You buy one and the next one is calling your name!
Truer words have never been spoken.
The new grips for my 1911 arrived today, so I'm stoked.
Don, we going tomorrow? I'm game for whatever...if you want to stay out of the rain/snow, we can do Bud's or Open Range...
Wow, when I saw this thread title I thought it would be about the movie with kevin Costner and Robert Duvall.

On a serious note, I have been hunting and shooting most of my life and have never shot at a range indoors or outdoors. gropwing up here in Bullitt County we always had a place to go shoot. I know it sounds strange but the next time I shoot at a range will be the first time.
