My vote goes to NGK. According to chart Champion L77JC4 cross ref to NGK B7HS-10. NGK seems to last longer less fouling out in oily 2 strokes.

I have an older boat and have used regular "marine" grade spark plugs - Champion L77JC4. Recently, I was able to obtain an owners manual. It has the marine grade, but is more like a racing spark plug - UL77V. Which is the better plug and what benefits would the racing plug have over the regular?
Thanks for any help!

Go to www.fastbass.com and ask those guys under the "technical forum". Somebody on their always knows the answer to boat and and engine stuff.
Also, you could try www.bassboatcentral.com and go to their forum and ask. I don't know the difference of those part numbers. I also like NGK plugs, but Champions work just fine in a boat engine---would not ever put them in a car, but they seem to do well in boat engines. Good Luck.
