    Re: Dale Hollow 1/8-1/9

OPPS! After reading back my post and can understand the sentiment. I was attempting to be more 'tongue in cheek' with my humor. I need to brush up on my writing skills. If anyone is a 'newby' on the lake it is still I and I meant no intention that I owned any spots. I am indeed EXTREMELY grateful for all the help you and others have given me.

After catching the second fish I didn't fish the rest of the day and tried to guide only. I should have quit after finding the first fish. This dad is still learning.

You need to put up the rods and reels for the rest of the winter and get back to writing songs. We only have 2, which will make up a nice 45, but we need at least 12 more before we can get Rodney Adkins or Brad Pasley will sing the whole album. On your next song, you have to include the following words somewhere: Billy Westmoreland, One Stop, Celina TN, Rain, Sleet and Snow. elnut

Seems we'd also have to add the word numb and something about a runny nose.

Ifn my nose produced money I would be rich...but it's snot... hmm.

I'm hearing the tune 'Wichita Lineman'. I'll get back to work. Later. MIke

You got a lot of work to do so, get to writing. The other 2 songs are a hit. i got my 5 year old already starting to learn them so he will be singing them before you know it and driving Mom crazy.

    Mike,
I'm glad you were able to make it out with son #2 to Dale. It's a shame the weather and fish didn't cooperate a little more. I feel your pain. Like you, my days are so limited on the lake that I want it to be perfect and unfortunately, it seems like it never is. Then, that week before Christmas, I thought we had hit the mother load with the weather(rain, sleet, snow), and wouldn't you know it, the blamed fish forgot to show up and bite.
I hope you can get him back out there on a day when the big girls show up to play. By the way, I know a guy that's selling a boat that'll handle those waves pretty well. LOL
    Take care, Cliff

Now I have to apologize to Krista. A song writers life is tougher than I thought. Maybe I need to stick to my day job. Well, need to take off to Indianapolis to the nurseryman and landscapers convention.

Krista will get over it and forget about that "Grass Mowing" convention and get back to your real job, SONGWRITING. Brad Pasley is awaiting the next 10 cuts before he will release the album titled, "Them Ol' Brownfish"
