how do you catch the crappie this time of year, i havent fished for them in the winter before, and would like to go one day, thanks

Im a firm beleiver that their is one crappie in charge over the entire lake and he says when it time to eat and it's not time to eat. Crappie are alot harder to catch religously than most people think.
