    Dale Hollow 1/9-11

Finally landed my first fish on the FnF!!! Thanks Elnut for the tips and suggestions. Friday only 3 fish were caught 18' 19' and a 20'. Last year I was skunked so I was satisfied.

Saturday was a different story. Outboard wold not start so I used my trolling motor all day. even had to use my main battery to get me back to the island. Don't think I would have caught any fish had it worked cause I would not have fished these spots. Rained and rained and rained. 5 fish for the day. 14' 19' 18' 19' 20' even though I've only had a my boat going on 3 years I didn't even think about the kill switch. Freakin kill switch was off. Had to laugh about it since I did catch some fish.

Sunday loaded up and went back to where the 5 were caught but wind was pretty hard and it was colder then the last two days so we headed out.

    Fish hard!!

Glad to help, hope your buddy got a little confidence in the fly seeing the fish being caught on it. Don't sweat the Kill switch, done a lot of things like that and surely to do more. As my brother in law told me when I got my first boat 5 years ago, "You will learn something on the water EVERY day you go fishing". Very true statement for I do. Elnut
