We have six cats in the house that never go out but they have room to roam in the house, they are all fixed, most are rescues that would have either wound up dead or overpopulating the country, and our house does not smell of cats. We also have two that stay outside, by day they roam but at night we have an old outbuilding where they stay, and they like being locked in it at night, they never roam at night, to many coyotes, also have one dog that stays with them in our "cat shack". I am sorry for the loss wishin, some people are just plain mean and hateful when it comes to cats. Bassfisherman I feel your pain also. Our cats are like children, we have no children, cant, so we have pets. It kills you when the pass.
