Don, I thought the same thing as real time. But when I saw it on slowmo, he tipped it ahead to himself then one dribble, then two steps and the dunk. I don't think it was a walk but did have that appearance at first. What a game though, WOW.

    Thumbs up Re: GO CARDS

Well as I saw it the turning point in the game was the O/T bad call on the deflected pass that U of L hit. The pass was purely deflected and called a turnover against ND. U of L was up by two or 3 points and the Turnover call gave the ball back to U of L and add another score...Then the momentum was turned up big time by U of L and ND went south...call it Home officiating if you will , but that was indeed the turning point of the game...... I do believe that a return trip to Notre Dame will be a loss for the Cards. But you guys go ahead and rip it up as only the U of L fans can do...I'm only reporting on how I saw the game as a bystander and not Color Blind by the Big Red as you guys are...... But again I said it was a good win for the Cards, so I am giving credit for the win......

P.S. it's not U of L bashing as you say I do most often, only giving my view on the game....lol

The constant pressure and the speed of play are what beat Notre Dame. You should have seen how gassed they were when Bray took the time out in overtime. They were exhausted in the huddle. We were sitting cattycorner from there bench and Harongody was bent over tugging on his shorts trying to catch his breath.

You know what surprises me is that other teams don't get into the superb physical shape that RP's teams seem to be in. Why not? It's sports for crying out loud, get into shape or get out! There are players lined up behind these guys that are dying for a chance. Remember Shagari Ilean(sp)?
Heck even Big Baby at LSU could run hard for awhile you just didn't get in front of him because stopping the tank took a few steps more than normal.

Good point Don. Pitino has always done this. Now and when he was at UK. He knows some teams are better than his so he looks for ways to counter punch it. Alot of teams can run with Pitino teams for 30 to 35 minutes, but can they do it for 40. Sometimes that's all it takes. McGee was inspiring in that overtime, he was playing defense like he had hot embers in his shorts, I love to see a kid play like it's the last time he'll ever get to, fun to watch.

The reason the John's were brought into the mix of things..Is because St. John's was one of the teams to beat ND prior to the loss to the Cards....So when U of L plays St. John's and I see how U of L reacts to their style of play, then I'll give my game analysis for the real outcome of the game last night....Because I know you Card fans really want the most outside perspective of your team as only I can give....lol...I give my advice and great observance for free to you lucky U of L fans you know.....

I guess I should just let this go but heck I love a good argument, you guys know how thick headed I am. Using you EXPERT philosphy Mills since Boston College beat number one ranked North Carolina and then got beat by HARVARD, LOL, that means Harvard should be the best team in the NCAA,....right, lol.

Clyde you can't judge games from other games it's way to complex. Individual matchups, style of play, foul trouble, geographic location, coaches taking things away, preparation time or lack there of, the list is absolutely endless. I'm glad you are giving your basketball analysis for free cause what you brought on this so far ain't worth a plug nickle, lol.

Clyde how can you give your game anylasis of UL Notre Dame and its outcome....based on any other game but the one we are talking about?

I can tell you the real outcome of the game long before UL plays St. Johns. Here it is..Cards 87 Notre Dame 73.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?...=ESPNHeadlines

Oh and Clyde, keep in mind that a blown call by the official cost UL the game in regulation because T-Will and Harongody touched the ball at the same time which negates the over and back call that the refs made disallowing Williams dunk, so to blame the refs is pretty weak argument.

How could you say the dunk at the end of the game would have counted? Heck he walked a country mile doing the dunk...Last time I checked you don';t get two long 16 ft. steps to make the dunk.......Now unless of course your D. Griffith, then I could see it being done in one giant 16' step.....lol

Mills go to ESPN.com and go to college basketball, then teams. All conferences will come up. Go to Big East and pick Louisville. Then when that page loads click on video box that has Terrence Williams on it, it's right there in front of you. It's a ESPN breakdown video and shows all the major highlights of the game. It will show you the obvious bad call that Tim was talking about at the end of the game in SLOWMO AND STOPPED TIME so you can see it. Then watch after the ball is tipped, heck play it over and over if you want, I did, that was not a walk, not even close. Shake the hate and take the blinders off, get your reading glasses off of your kitchen table and watch it.

    Re: GO CARDS

Sorry, I have seen that play a dozen times...I saw it live in person, I saw it on the overhead video because they kept showing the replay during the delay, I watched it on the news highlights and I have watched it on the link that I posted above. There is no walk. I think your hatred for the Cards keeps you from being able to honestly talk about them.

No now that is not true about me talking about your beloved Cards...I do give Kudo's on them winning...But when I see things differently than you Cards fans do, I'm always wrong in your eyes. Sorry but outside criticism of your team is very helpful to you guys seeing that your Cards are a (maybe) Top 25 team at best.
