Flukes are my FAVORITE bait to fish! They work great from early spring to late fall. And they work really well in the dead of winter, fished slow in farm ponds.
I never use a weight while fishing them, I always just vary the size of my hook to make it sink faster or slower.
The pearl white color is my favorite, and I have probably caught more fish during the summer months off flukes than any other bait. They are unmatched if you can find a school of bass chasing baitfish actively.
