According to the website she has only came up another foot since the 8th so it looks to be stablizing a bit. just under 10 feet below summer pool and with the constant cold temps this week should make the bite better.

WE had a dissapointing day Monday. First we had to wait until 7CST at Stranges for shinners but for a good reason as he was receiving blood at the hospital. All the reports I could get said shinners were what they wanted now. We (three) fished the fly, jigs, cranks and shinners and only got two bits no catches. The sad thing is we watched a fellow from Tompkinsville boat 6 and lose 2 on the same point we had the bites on. The biggest was a 21" 5lbs smallie. He tried to let us catch a fish he even switched sides of the point with us and that's where he caught the big one. Oh well, at least we saw some fish. We fished the main lake points?
Don't know where you put in at but the One Stop in Celina opens up at 5am CST and they sell shiners as well. A little drive from Burkesville but you can also get one heck of a Pork Tenderloin biscuit for breakfast as well.WE had a dissapointing day Monday. well buddy right now from what i have observed being on the lake and reading and doing most of the fish have been caught off secondary points... sun when i was coming across the main lake i was headed to sulfur creek to try some new fnf water and there was probably 6 or 7 boats and every creek i fished from sulfur to deer lick had boats up and on the inside.... the bait fish tend to move in the creeks down there from what i can tell.... i get to fish it maybe 3times a month sometimes more or less..... but as far as reading reports i read them too but when i go i just usually fish what i am confident in and know if i got this rod and lure in my hand i will catch a fish thats what i fish... i might try what someone else said worked for a bit but generally at the end of the day i will be doing what i have the most confidence in.....WE had a dissapointing day Monday.
