You are ABSOLUTELY right there, but I'd go one better.
I don't think the fans have as much to do with Indiana sucking.......as the Administration and Miles Brand......
Firing Knight, hiring Davis......Keeping him for 6 years, then Hiring a COMPLETE CHEATER.......
Now, we finally have a coach again, but no dang players.........I bet if you could have seen what was to become of Indiana Basketball 8 years ago, the GENERAL would still be coaching the mighty Hoosiers.

I gotta give you your due on this post. Miles Brand was an idiot at best. Getting rid of Bobby just because he didn't fit some politically correct agenda set forth by the school board was a very bad move. Coach Knight got a little nuts once and awhile but nobody poured theirself into their job more than he did. I personally liked Bobby, I always have. Davis tried and even went to the Four that one year but wasn't truely ready for that job. And hiring Sampson was a joke, the guy has been a black cloud everywhere he's ever been. Sure he wins alot of games but at what cost, heck he'll sell his mothers soul to win. Coach Knight was and is Indiana basketball, always was and always will be, just my opinion.

Go Hoosier's is all I got to say about that....lol..Will be a pain in the ARSE for everyone in a couple more years....lol![]()
You might...........
I mean it took a LONG time to get over the tubby years at UK.....I personally liked Tubby, but didn't think he was the right guy to fuel additional final 4 runs and banners.......Now, I'm not too sure Gillespie is either, but I think he might have a better chance......
AND Pitino at UL........well.......when he was hired what, 6 years ago, All I heard was UL was going to be hanging a banner in a year or two......and the just might hang 3 or 4.......RIGHT.
The super power teams are going to REALLY have it tough the next decade, especially with the "superstars" leaving after 1 or 2 years. Eric Gorgon left after 1 year from Indiana, and is making a MAJOR impact. Same with Oden, and a ton of others.
If the NCAA and the NBA would come up with a legitimate plan to keep kids in school for at least 2 years, college basketball would be so much better.
I'd love to have Gordon around this year.
