You are correct that no drawdown took place this winter. The study for Gizzard Shad control has completed that phase of the process. It will still be some time before the data is all assembled from all the lakes in the study, and then maybe some conclusions will be available. In the meanwhile, it is lookin glike ice fishing might be an opportunity for the first time in several years. I won't ever be declaring the ice to be "safe" but people are welcome to make their own judgements. Just be careful. If you fall in I ain't coming to get you out until spring. ;-)
