    FLW Coverage

I just watched the East/West fish off which I dvred, and I don't have enough room to write how bad I thought it was on here. Ok I can understand them showing Terry Bolton, the guy waxed em for 3 days but these other guys like RJ Bennett... I feel it should be illegal to show a 2 pounder being caught at Falcon it was 2 pounder, 3 pounder, 2 pounder, ohh here's Terry Bolton with a 9, then Brett Hite with a 2 pounder. The more I watch FLW the more I like watching the Elites, and plus I cant stand Chris Jones they need to get Fish Fishburn on there or anyone else. My friends and I talked about this just wondering how you all feel. I may also have the opportunity to give input on where and what people want to see in the College fishing series or just a fishing show in general, please offer you opinions.

    Re: FLW Coverage

Chris Jones is the greatest entertainment on TV...I laugh at that tard everytime he opens his mouth. He puts me in mind of lurch with his hunch back tendencies when he tries to get a point across. For the Falcon tourney, pretty basic Irwinism, who cares if Hackney won the tourney and set an FLW record, he's a BASS guy and that wouldn't be favorable for the kelloggs-energizer-maytag-maytax-tide-masengil pros. There is ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT that someone on that tour should be running a masengill wrapped boat because Irwin makes them ALL out to a gigantic douche in the sake of advertisement.

Right, thanks Kyle I almost forgot that the winner of that tournament literally had less than 30 seconds of coverage. Hackney wasn't even seen setting the hook or out on the water, not to mention he almost beat the all time FLW cumulative weight in a three day tournament. ( The current record is a 4-day Sten, he only missed it by like a pound.)

i could not even tell you any of the names of the flw pros unless they have or do fish the b.a.s.s. flw coverage stinks. out of all the fishin shows that i dvr that is one that i dont record. i love to bass fish and to fish tournaments but i do fish for other fish sometimes like on the front of the house boat and off the dock. for a person who loves bass fishin so much should watch flw (WRONG) i think i would rather watch barny with the kids then flw covrege.

Sounds like you'll be running the kellogs/energizer/maytag/payless shoes/sonny jims sausage/land o lakes wrapped ranger next year with your Irwin love. I mean FLW is awesome, no need to get sponsors and work your way up through the ranks, just start paying the big entries and hope you make it because if you do Irwin will give you a sponsor for the day so you can wear a sweet bowling shirt on tourney day.

LOL!! I can't knock FLW because they help my class out often and they do great things for the community around here. But, I have to agree with the this. If you have deep enough pockets, you can fish the highest level they have - granted you will have some tough competition. I love the weigh - in's too, especially in the series - whatever shirt you have on, they will anounce that. Ranger shirt=Ranger Pro, No shirt-they may announce you as a up and coming pro. I have also seen them throw som in - Bass cat Shirt=motorguide pro.

There is no way in the world it will be better than the Classic coverage. First there will be better announcers, and you can bet your house that the winner is going to be covered extensively. There will be hours of coverage of the Classic, compared to a one hour show on FLW that airs months later. There is no comparison in the way the Classic is covered compared to any FLW event.

    Re: FLW Coverage

When it comes to sponsorship, FLW is a joke. Why in the world wouldn't they show any coverage of Hackney when he won the overall weight for the east/west fish-off (oh yeah because because he's not sponsored by Snickers, duracell, national guard, kotex or KY jelly). The best example was when Jason Quinn entered the FLW Series tournament on Clarks Hill and they would let him run his Evan Williams wrapped boat.

    Re: FLW Coverage

OK guys that was just my opinion, but when the classic is aired i dont wanna hear anyone on here whining about how they showed the same coverage 3 days straight like they did last year...and if i can recall there was a thread started about how aweful it was
