drop/lift net plans

Does anyone have any plans on how to make a drop/lift net? Planning on catching my own shad and saw memphis nets has an 8'x8' for around $75. I am not sure how to go about getting and setting up an arm and wiring in a dimmer switch to a light though!

Sorry never heard of this, don't most people just use one of those throw nets to catch the bait?

just get a trap or a seine. They are cheap and effective
