Fishing is one thing but catching under these conditions is kind of tricky. I bet that water temperature is in the mid-to-upper 30s which really slows them down. I have fished out there several times in the past under such conditions and man are the fish really moving and biting slow. You almost have to fish minnows on the bottom and put them in their face. You also have to have a lot of patience when you get a bite because they bite short a lot and pull the minnows off of the hook. A really good way to catch them is to veritical jig with a live minnow and put a stinger hook in the tail of the minnow for the short bites...
