Hey, don't forget Day On the Lake on eSPN.

I love the articles better, more in depth, but the show is really good too. Lots of informations shared there, plus it is a pro on a new body of water. Kind of more the same type things we may experience ourselves.

Yeap "Day On the Lake" is my favorite. I always read the article, but only catch the show every now and then. But it seems to be the most helpful and lets you see that those guys (and gals - Feb issue) aren't catching fish every 30 - 45 seconds like Bill Dance does in those honey holes. Just kidding, I like watching Bill Dance too. Didn't he catch the first bass ever at a B.A.S.S. event?

Bill Dance finished second in the first ever event IIRC

Right now I would love to be fishing in a private pond, public lake, or whatever as long as it was not frozen.

Overall, I think this show is head and shoulders or gils and fins above all the rest for information. No private lakes or ponds filmed on this show.
I agree, Bass Pro's is a great show. I also like Classic Patterns and A Day On The lake. I very seldom watch Bill Dance I get tired of watching him catch cookie cutter 6 pounders the whole show. i would like it more if they would throw a couple 2 pounders in the mix every once in a while it would seem a little more realistic.

I know there are not alot of Ike fans on here, but I really like "City Limits Fishing". All of them that I have seen has him on a river system. If you haven't seen it, he tries to catch 5 keeper bass in 6 hours, & not leave the city limits. If he has a partner in the boat they both try for a 5 fish limit of keepers each in 6 hours. I like the bass pros, don't get me wrong, but I really enjoy this show also.

Bass Pro's, Classic Patterns, and Day on the Lake are my favorites, and I think help me the most on trying to put a pattern together when I am on the lake.

    jason,
i like ike he is one of my favorits and that is one of the best shows. on one of the shows he fishes with a little boy of the bank. the boy had no idea who he was and the boy ask him to watch his stuff so he could run home and get another pole so they can fish together. i thought that was cool how many other pros would do that. he gave the kid a buzz bait and the kid loved it he showed the boy how to use it. the boy was happy just to have someone fish with him. ike is a cool dude and people should look twice at him before they judge him. just because a guy yells and sreems and has fun is that a reason to hate him. he loves what he does and he takes the time to pass the sport along to kids. thats a great guy in my book.

Anybody can catch fish in a private lake or these retention ponds that bill dance uses with his hand controlled trolling motor! That's no fun i want to see these guys get on a real body of water and teach me something, that's what a fishing show should be, and some are don't get me wrong. But dissapointing in my opinion
