Anyone ever have lenses changed in frames? I have two pair of Costa's that have Rx in them and don't need that now.

I have had that done. I carried the sunglasses back to the place where I got the prescription and asked them to put plain lenses without prescriptions in them. They did it and didn't giving me problems. Maybe you could give it a try with your eyewear center.

I ask about it there after last exam, and they said that Costa would have the shape and bends of the lense. The eye center can do it but with out mirror coating. How much was it for you to change?

Mine cost about as much as single vision prescription lens with tint and 'scratch proofing.' I think they charged more because they were $350 Sophia Lauren frames. I'm no longer wearing contacts so when I finish with these glasses I think I'll just store them in the bank vault. lol
