That was a good article, thanks for sharing! I got to meet Lee McCellan (Still cant spell or say his last name very well) through a friend of mine down at KY Lake 2 years ago. He is a really down to earth nice guy with unending amounts of fishinf knowledge. Glad to see him get some extra fishing in and intern spread the word about the F-n-F! And show that maybe the rest of us aent as crazy as everyone keeps telling us that we are!HA HA HA!

Pretty good article. For anyone reading it and learning about the fly for the first time just a couple of suggestions versus the article. Use the FNF custom bobbers, don't use the pear shaped plastic bobbers and use the 3-way rig with braid as your main line and flouro as your leader, don't use Flouro all the way thru and wrap the bobber. Just a couple of suggestions that will make it easier for you if you are new at it. Elnut

I've never tried the fnf and dont plan to. It just doesn't appeal to me, but this article was a very good read on a cold afternoon.

Chris Poore is the writer and he is very good. He doesn't do a ton of outdoor writing but at one time he founded a magazine called The Kentucky Fishing Journal and later it was changed to the Kentucky Outdoor Journal. He ended up selling out to Midwest Outdoors and they publish it as part of the Kentucky/Ohio section. I believe Chris is a journalism professor at UK, but I may be mistaken on that.

It was a very good article, espicially since the Herald Leader has cut back on their outdoor coverage.
