    Re: sunglasses

I use Solar Bat sunglasses with green iridium lenses. I have used both Oakley and Costa and still think the Solar Bat is better. They are not as popular as Costa but most Costas are sold for offshore which is why the blue is so popular. The two best colors by far for fresh water are green and amber. Gray or black is the worst for sight fishing. The blue especially iridium blue blocks too much light for fresh water fishing. The glare on the ocean in clear blue water in the south is intense and the blue blocks out the most light reflection and does not allow enough for freshwater viewing. In any brand you buy green is 1st pick and amber is second pick the added iridium is a plus as well. Very few companies offer the green iridium that Solar Bat offers; they also have other exclusive patented colors. www.solarbat.com
Sonar is the model I have but they have multiple price ranges which helps as well.

I have a pair of Costas and I like them. The only problem with the solar bats is they are for small heads I have a fat head and they don't fit.

Agreed Solar Bats are generally smaller which is what I like becuase they are snug, they wont move around or fly off. I also wear them riding motorcycles so snug fit is much better. They do say in there descriptions the size or shape of head they will fit. If you have a big mellon you may not like them.

You guys should also consider Smith's Optics if you are willing to spend some $. I've had the same pair for 3 years and like them a lot. I went with the amber tint since I fish early morning and late evening a lot in the summer. It works good for me during the day also, but haven't really tried them on a lake all day. Just the river and creeks.

Can't speak about those but if you wear regular presciption glasses have your optomitrist make you a pair with your script in a super pair of poleroids tell him what you want them for mine cost $70.00 and work great
