Any political leader who said this would instantaneously be crucified and branded a hate monger by our media, learning institutions, other politicians, and every liberal in the country. His/her career would immediately be over

Any citizen who said this would get clobbered as well. I've made comments along the same lines on this board, and a more enlightened and liberal member (Can't say his name, but his initials are Col Forbin) was outraged. He lectured that we should embrace the Muslim culture and learn from it. Tried to figger what we could learn from a culture that encourages physical abuse of women and produces suicide bombers, but couldn't come up with anything.

Seems common sense that to discourage the Muslim culture and watch them very closely would go a long way toward combating terrorism on our soil. Guess common sense applied to political correctness equals hate though.
