The best way is to just re-tie. Like someone else said, if you're worried about time the best way is to have 3 or 4 crank rods rigged up. Next time the BPS Crankin Stick goes on sale for $39 just by a couple and have them rigged up.

I do usually have two or more rods already rigged like others.
Snaps and swivels dampen the action IMHO
Improved clinch/cinch (spelling) and throw Bandit crankbaits they seem to run great right out of the package almost everytime. Normans are the worst for me, it seems I always have to tune them and they seem so finicky to me.
This is the fastest I have found to change lures and keep fishing, Retie and leave the speed clips for the kids' lures
