How About the FnF on Lake Cumberland

I am going to put in at cumberland point on Sat. Was wondering if any luck with the fnf. I heard that the water is too cold. Thought about using a silver buddy. Any elp would be greatly appreciative, location, depth , bait anything.

Fishin is life and I are going to try FnF this weekend on C-Land as well. I haven't heard many reports lately, so we'll probably just be winging it....as we usually do.

I would put in down lake somewhere if I was you. East end, or upper end as some say was very turbid. Stained water may hurt your bite some, just a suggestion.

Water is NEVER too cold for the fly. As long as the bobber does not go bouncing across the top of the ice then the fly will work. Deep leader, slow presentation, fish dope the jig to minimize the action and off you go. Fish steeper parts of the lake with leader as long as you can cast.
