    Stimulus Plan

Only politicians can think this way:

The orginal plan in the Senate was for $700 Billiom. Then they added $270 Billion in PORK to bring the total to $970 Billion (not counting interest on the future debt). Then, after four or five days of haggling, they eliminated about $150 Billion in PORK and came up with a final bill of $827 Billion. AND, now Repubicians and Democrats alike are patting themselves on the back and bragging about how much money they are saving us tax payers.

Oh yeah, and they have changed the name to Economic Recovery Plan.

I can't wait to see the explainations in the letters from them answering my letters asking them to defeat these bills.

    Re: Stimulus Plan

The revised Economic Recovery Plan retained items that probably won't help the economy much, such as $650 million to help people without cable receive digital signals through their old-fashioned televisions or $1 billion to fix problems with the 2010 Census.

Ok...the above paragraph is exactly what I read....the freakin' Economic Recovery Plan will hand out money for people who still have television sets with rabbit ears???!!!!!

This is really what I was hopin' the Recovery Plan would do....gosh this whole deal about old time televisions not getting signals was really bothering me. Thank goodness for Nobama and friends, it won't be long before everyone can kill more time watching a television that gets a good signal!

    Re: Stimulus Plan

Who said that when these guys take office they would start to implement more of their Socialistic ways? Hmmmm.......I think everyone!!! (well most of us anyway)
Most Americans would rather have tax breaks to manage their own money than these fools taking more and spending it.
