11.5 largemouth from small city lake in south central Ky, june bug 4 " Zoom lizard, 10 lb pline, 7.4 smallie black/blue Zorro jig, Zoom trailer, 20lb pline, same small city lake, both fish caught and released, small came in early Mar, nasty windy sleety day, largemouth, came in late May after spawn, would have like to got her a week earlier, before she dropped eggs, she was 29" long. Just a beauty.
6-1 Greenfish at Ky Lake, and 3 best Brownfish are 6-2, 6-4, and 6-6 all at Dale all in the winter all on the fly and 3 more that went 5-15. Don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing to say you have 3 Browns bigger than your biggest greenfish and almost 6 that are bigger. Guess you can figure out what I fish for the most as well.
9 LB LM - Watermellon red flake Lizard. Early March. Norman, OK. Small Public Park.
BB1
Given I've only been bass fishing a bit more than a year now. 6lb even, small farm pond last April. 1/4 gamakatsu long shank jig, green pumpkin grub 2 1/2 inch, with a small gold jig spinner.
I caught two largemouth this past year on Ky and Barkley that were over 7. One was 7.5 - Those were my first two over 7, now I am shooting for 8.
I caught a Smallmouth this year that went 6.2 or 6.4 - by far the biggest smallie I have ever caught.
Caught one of the LM, on a short arm black spinner (night)
Caught the other two, and severl over 6 on the same bait - Last cast Finesse jig in Green Pumpkin - I will always have that tied on. Thanks to Dave Stewart for introducing them to this area. Sorry to everyone else if I buy the bulk of them before they are put on the shelf.
Can't wait for this year! I have two goals for this year, but probably won't see them with the twins coming in 10 weeks (right in the middle of good fishing time!!! - I didn't plan so well).
1. Break 8 lbs.
2. Break 25 lb. bag (had two over 20 last year, but can't seem to get to that 25 mark)

a 6.6 green fish and a 5.5 smallie..... both come out of dale hollow....
My best came from Patoka in mid March on a black/blue jig and it weighed 6# 12oz. It came during a IBF tourney and I ended up in 10th place and had BB for the tourney.
I never get a chance to weigh my fish, my biggest LMB came off of a live bluegill in a tiny neighborhood pond in eastern JeffCo. I measured the fish at 24" and quesstimated about seven pounds. She drew a crowd, people came out of their homes and started taking pictures and calling people. I released her but given the size of the pond and amount of people that saw her I am sure she is gone by now.
Never caught a big brown bass, maybe 2.5 pounds out of Harrods Creek off of live craw. Fun on 4lb ultralight set up though!
9lb12oz larry at Rough jig 4lb12oz ky at Nolin jig- Barren buzz 5lb smallie Green jig - Ky buzz and c-rig
