My Message to Obama

I just thought i would share the message I just emailed to President Obama, my Senators, and Congressman. This message is considerable shorter than I would have liked because this President has limited email messages to 500 characters. I did revise and expand it somewhat for the others. Here is what I sent to Obama:

With all due respect, Sir, your economic plan STINKS. And, the Economic Recovery Plans being worked on by the Senate and Congress stink even worse. In spite of all your protestations that you and the government must do something to stimulate the economy, all these plan really do is make for a bigger, socialist, welfare state goverment contol of the economy which the Constitution never intended to be controlled by the government. The best thing the government can do is NOTHING!!

I copied the article below from the Insight Home page. If Obama is looking for "grass roots" support, I don't know where he is going to find it--every poll and report I have seen states that the vast majority of Americans are against these stimulus plans. It just shows you how out of touch our politicians have become:

I emailed mine. Basically told them I have a hard time putting my trust in anything they do anymore. They are the problem and taking more money from me isn't fair. I didn't cause this mess they did. I want tax breaks so I can help stimulate the economy I don't want them doing that for me. I told them to not send out checks like before because people get them who don't deserve them. Like I said I don't trust them. I said to show me a well run Government Program and I'll change my mind.

Good for you Don. Would you believe that the Liberals are going to run a TV ad saying that 80 percent of the American people SUPPORT THE STIMULAS PLAN and the Republicans are stopping it. 80 percent mind you, that sure is not what I have seen or heard--more like 80 are against it. All they want is political cover so when it doesn't work, then they can say IT WASN'T OUR FAULT WE JUST DID WHAT THE PEOPLE WANTED.

Earlier, I saw Mike Huckabee on Fox News and he said if Obama and the Democrats really want to help the people and the economy, they should declare a one month tax holiday -- AND LET THE WORKERS SPEND THE MONEY ANY WAY THEY WANT TO. Now thats a stimulus plan.
