My trip to the airport (Cards Football)

I went to the airport yesterday afternoon to pick up a buddy who was coming home from Nebraska. While I am waiting on him to get his luggage, who should I see? The brilliant football mind that is Steve Kragthorpe. My first though was "I hope he is on a one way flight out of here!" But no, he was just retreiving some luggage. Dang, got my hopes up for a minute!

Why didn't you just walk up to him and act as if he was getting ready to check his luggage and leaving the State...Not even let him get a word in, and just say that it's about time he got the hint and left......lol

    Not a bad Idea.

What do you all think about Brohm leaving. That is 6 coordinators leaving with in 3 years. Krapthorp says that he is going to call all of the plays on offense so he can take all of the responsibility and guess work out. I like it because there are no more scapegoats. When we don't win a game this year it will all fall on his shoulders. Then maybe he will get the ax. I think he will be here for 4 years no matter what.

Just a sad situation going on for the U of L Cards right now in their Football Program........ Brohm gone after only 1 season as Offensive Coordinator...

But at least he's going to one of the Newest Stellar programs going right now being led by Howard Schnellenberger..... His teams have been awesome at Fla International......

Ya know Ryan, I've heard that Krag called most of the plays last year anyway? This guy is a piece of work for sure. I said it when he came and I'll say it again. Louisville will never play in another bowl game with him as coach. Jurich layed a major egg with this guy, it was a terrible, horrible, pitaful, hire. Admit it Jurich and cut the ties, you screwed up on this one, we all make mistakes, just admit, fire the guy and let's start over.

I heard from a player that Kragthorpes first year here he was ok with any coach on the team to call out plays. He said when Petrino was here you had to run it through him first before even thinking about calling plays. Sittin here b**chin about it isnt getting anything changes made so I guess we'll have to see what happens this year....but it doesnt look good thats forsure. GO CARDS!!

Re: My trip to the airport (Cards Football)

I still haven't decided if I am going to renew my season tickets. This is getting worse by the minute. Signing day was a joke and now losing Brohm. Brohm didn't get to call the plays, he made suggestions and Kragthorpe made the final decision. This guy is terrible.

I really hate the fact that Brohm turned down Nick Saban's offer, only to stay here at his school and have it turn out like this.

Re: My trip to the airport (Cards Football)

Jeff Brohm's son plays basketball on the same team as my son (5 years old), he comes to every game and seems like a good guy. Brian Brohm was there a few weeks ago to watch, it ***** Steve cut loose of Jeff. I think Steve is just digging himself a bigger hole.
