I watched part of it....the last 20 minutes or so I guess. What I saw was not a friendly well spoken gentleman, instead what I saw was a guy who had trouble answering questions....I noticed he said: "Ummmmm...." quite a bit before he answered, lots of delayed responses I think. Also what I saw from him seemed to me to be rudeness...he cut that little old lady off very abruptly...when he first addressed her he was honored to field her questions (or so he said), but any honor he had quickly diminished when he cut her off like he did.
The blacks who love Nobama sure are vocal about it, I can tell you this for sure. Have any of you all noticed it when you're going out to eat with your wives or anything? My wife tells me I need to chill out because everybody's entitled to their own opinion no matter how wrong they are. It could just be the neck of the woods I live in to (PRP/Valley Station/Shively).
Does anyone here have a McCain-Palin shirt in a 1x or 2x they'd be willing to sell me? Even though the election is now history and won't do any good, but it feels like I need to start wearing one.
I saw a very candid, and honest interview - a pleasant change from what we have grown used to. I thought it served the purpose well. I think it will be impossible for everyone to agree on a plan of action, but I think him stressing a lack of action is the worst possible route we can take could not be more true.
Chubminnow, maybe you need to get out more - I have noticed just as many whites that are thrilled to have him, and are just as vocal. I know I am.

He comes across sincere for sure maybe he is and I can't fault the guy for that but I wish he would have been able to explain why we have so much junk in this Bill? If you trying to be honest and forthcoming then cut the Frisbee parks, Global Warming, Polar Bear Parks and whatever else that has no **** right to be in this ECONOMIC RECOVERY BILL!
He is still saying the gubment is the way....it's not! In my heart of hearts I don't see how that can be. That's what got us here in the first place for crying out LOUD!! When does this sink into anyone's head? These guys are the problem! He said (8) years of Bush was the problem? I don't remember (8) years of problems. Anyone else remember (8) years? I do remember the Libs running this country into the ground with Fannie and Freddie am I right? Yes we have had close to (2) years of problems but that's also when the Libs started having their way. Any connection there.
I know for certain that that Lib party telling everyone how bad it is has only contributed to our misery especially the mental midgets that depend on the gubment for their every want.
I like the idea of Gretta on FOX she said give us immediate payroll tax deductions for 6 months to a year and see what happens. People with more money will save and then start spending again. Go ahead and give tax beaks to first time home buyers or car buyers that will help as well. Why make us pay more when they already have our money? Just give it back. How long is this going to take to repay?
I know that goes against bleeding heart Liberals way of thinking because then we are not being fair to the non tax paying people. I don't care one bit about them. Sorry but it's true.....I'm evil and have no heart.
Oh tell it Don, tell it, you are right as rain my brother without a doubt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Col,
How long you going to keep drinkin that cool aid before you realize the wolf in the sheeps clothing as our President.....![]()
Col Forbin - I get out plenty kind sir. Wished I could stay home more actually.
I think my wife hit the nail on the head when she said people are entitled to their own opinions no matter how wrong they are.
I will put you on my prayer list Mr. Forbin.
The way I see it, he hasn't done anything that I disapprove of yet. The fact that he is making efforts for positive improvement is more than I am used to for our president. I will support him as long as he keeps things going in the right direction - or at least tempting to steer us there. Which, I can honestly say I did the same for Bush - how many of you can say the same for Obama (very few on here). It took me at least 3 years before I started laughing every time I saw Bush on tv, and a few more before I became sick to my stomache.
Bush buried his head in the sand in terms of the economic situation which only caused the problem to snow ball. The problem is much deeper than the past two years. Bush'and his admin's lack of action to address the economic situation was one of his greatest failures. Even though some of these problems go farther back than his administration, Obama, in a sense, is making up for the last eight years in terms of lack of efforts.
Chub - I only meant by my comments that it is much more than the black community praising Obama and his attempts to better our country. When I read your message, it seemed to me that you thought only the black community was supportive of him.
I think a large part of our problem is allowing certain financial companies within the private sector become too powerful. Maybe the government should have intervened earlier.

Col...........they TRIED..........
Chris DODD, and Barney FRANK would not allow them to regulate fannie and freddie.
Again......you REALLY need to checkout some of the legitimate information out there with regards to the regulations put forth by republicans in 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007 that were VOTED DOWN BY THE DEMS.......
You my friend continue to discuss what is wrong, but you're not informed about the FACTS.
AND the very fact that the HEAD honcho for Freddie is now Obama's chief economic advisor should tell you something............Talk about someone with their head in the sand.
Later,
Geo
I know there are whites who support Obama...but I sure as heck don't over hear them talking out loud in restaurants about it...almost shouting it out, laughing, cutting up, high fives, Obama this, Obama that...some of these folks think he's better than the second coming of the lord, or so it seems to me anyway.
I'm in pursuit of a McCain/Palin Shirt....1x or 2x. Or maybe a hat.
