got on the water about 1030am fished til 430. hung one fish on a blade bait about 30 min in. dont know what it was.... came off half way to the boat. never got another bite. water temp avg. was about 44. found some 48 degree water back in a creek with shad all over the place but nothing chasing them. wind blew pretty good, but it was fishable to say the least. nice to be out in the warmth. would nt trade today for nothin'. BTW.. put in at jamestown. water stained. could see my lure about maybe a foot down. cant wait til spring.

Thanks for the report on cumberland. I'm thinking of heading there or cedar creek on friday. Anyone seen Cedar Creek latley? Can you eve get to the ramp and are ther tree limbs hanging everywhere over the water where I would be fishing?
