Heading to cumberland tomorrow, Friday the 13th, to do some more FnF fishing. Plan on either putting in at the dam and fishing Guffy and Indian Creeks or Jamestown and fishing the wall our near the cut-through. Anyone have any thoughts or advice?

Fish the pockets just off the main lake next to bluff walls that has water running in them from the rains or had water running in them. The water temps should be a bit higher in the backs and you may find baitfish schooled up in there trying to warm up a bit and the big girls will not be far behind. Find the clearest water possible for the fly and if stained, probably so, make sure Chartreuse is in your jig color scheme somewhere. Fish slow. If too stained for the fly then crankbait the same areas slow, Luhr Jensen Hot Lips 1/4 oz, or one that will get down to 10-14 feet or so.
Let us know how ya do and how the water looks.....i wouldn't mind to get down there and try the fly myself this weekend
Thanks elnut and fishin is life! I will post a report as as soon as I can friday night. It may be a little later since I've got a two-hour journey back to Lexington and then get the boat put away. If you're heading down early Saturday morning, PM a contact phone number and I'll call when I'm on my way home. I will also give you my cell phone number too. either way, I will post my results as soon as I can.
