Hey, I have never been to Laurel lake before and we are going Saturday, was wondering what might be some good areas to try with FnF or a jig. We are putting in at Holly Bay.
Thanks for any help that may be provided.

Hey steve, just got back from laurel today, fished a couple hours water temp around flatwoods was around 43.5 and up in frozen camp was almost 45----never took a hit that i know of lost around 20 bucks in spoons/buddies. Talked to a guy that said fish and wildlife stocked trout this past week, i never seen the first one, but you can see shad dying everywhere, seems like you could wack em with the fnf(i tried that too) if i were putting in at holly bay i would probably go to craigs creek and fish the points, always look at your graph---if you can graph fish suspended the fly usually works, on the other hand if your seeing fish on the bottom have a spoon or buddy ready, good luck and post your results, tcobb
we fished Laurel with little luck today...caught 2 on the FnF , one was a 3.6 smallie and one 13inch lm. any got any advice for catchin fish there. that was my first trip.
