Flash of light?

Anyone notice that flash of light around 10:00 tonight? I thought I was just seeing things then 18 news said a lot of people were reporting it. Anyone else see it? Wonder what it was?

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it was a comet or something like that. I've seen a similar thing in years past and there were lots of calls made. Fighter jets were dispatched from a nearby Air Force base and reported that it appeared to be a comet.

At this time there is a mysterious (to us) light that has been hanging low in the sky, behind our house, for over a year. It isn't a star because it's too large and too bright. I think it has something to do with the Weather Service, maybe a weather balloon or a satellite. If Sweetie Pie disappears I'll know it was those strange little green men with big eyes.

it is space trash... a russian and american satellite collided the other day sending thousands of pieces of metal adn debris a drift in space... what u are seeing is the re entry of some of these pieces of debris... wkyt did a special on it and we seen some coming home the other day... its like a blue flash... i didnt know until i seen the stuff either... but u aint going crazy its just stuff burning up on re entry....

yeah and there is so much of that space trash up there, that any kind of satelite launch is now getting to be risky.China shot one down last year over russia, how did they do that?
