We put in at Settlers Trace today around 11:00. Water was heavy stained to muddy. Water temp 39 most of the day, I think it hit 40 once. Fished a variety of lures (jigs, grubs, crankbaits, etc.) didn't get one hit. Then I ran into a stump and raised my trolling motor to see the prop was gone. It was a little strange because the nut that holds on the prop was still there and the shaft is ok. This is an older Motorguide (5 to 6 years), anybody know where I can pick one up at? Are those things universal or do I need to know the model of the motor? Thanks...

BPS or BandJ Marine.
You just need to know the diameter of the prop hub or the model number of the trolling motor, Should run you about $30 to $40 to replace at BPS or any marine dealer. I keep an extra prop in my boat.
I'd go to BassPro, they should have what your looking for.
I do know that Wally World carries some of the MG props if it's closer to you than BPS is.
They go by hub size 3" or 31/4" etc. They have them on line you can buy the kit prop nut, and pin. Or if not for sure go to a marine repair place I went the performance marine in alexandria ky. they can order it for you, same thing happened to be last year had no clue no one stocked it very important by hub size
Don't know if you have a Sportsmans warehouse close or not but I do know they carry a boat load of Minn Kota trolling motor props and accessories. Never looked specifically for a Motor Guide there but just another option.
