Launch Fee at Cumberland Dam Holcomb's Landing/Kendall

When I put in at the dam on friday, I put my $2 launch fee (just as the sign says it is) in the envolope and put in in the box. When I got back to the truck, there was a note on my windshield the said the "the launch fee at Kendall is $3 and that they have my tag number". So, I rumaged through my truck and gave them a $1 worth of pocket change. Why does the sign say the launch fee is $2 but but they want $3? I took pictures of the launch fee sign just in case I have questions from the authorities.

I wouldn't of given them anything. Real classy leaving a threatening note on your windshield to. Sounds like you make a good move taking those pictures though, you never know what people are going to try anymore.

Okay, you caught me, I needed one more dollar to get breakfast at Jamestown Cafe, so I wrote the note and waited there all day for you to come back and pay up. By the time I got there, they were done serving breakfast. So next time, don't fish so long, cause I get really shakey when I miss breakfast.

Seriously, I think ya did the right thing about the pictures. Hope you kept the note. I think I would write to the Nashville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Okay...you caught me....I was practicing tact........boss says I'm not good at it. I told him he was dead wrong...........and to show me his gratitude for bringing that to his attention, he gave me a free map to the unemployment office.

So, I'm practicing.......I want to get good at this "TACT" thing, so that next time I tell a boss to go to "HE...#$#%##$%), he'll look forward to the trip, and send me a post card when he gets there.
