So congress adjourned, but first they gave themselves a 4700 dollarm cost of living raise.That they said would off set the cost of those luxury places they are meeting in to discuss how to help the economy recover, worked for them!

It's been 2 years since my last raise. Company is on a salary freeze right now.

Wish I could give myself a raise by just changing the amount of tax I pay the government...which is essentially what they're doing for themselves.

The most gauling thing is that they held the stimulus package up , and wanted more tax cuts, and how are they, government workers paid. TAXES!

I am so sick and tired of this type of %^*) I can't stand it. I try to vote the best way I know how and it does not work, they lost. What do you do? I would move but to where?

my employer announced a salary freeze today. we are in the medical supply buisness and i am in a position to know they are not hurting as they claim. imo its a way for them to pinch a penny. i am sick of hearing about theese bailouts , tax increases , ect.... where is my bailout??? the cost of living is going up and my salary looks smaller every year. i have decided that my vote doesnt count and its my right to vote or not vote , so in four years when they elect a new president unless there is a sure fire winner there im not going. i know thats not the right thing to do but its just my hard headed thoughts that the way i vote does not amount to a hill of beans because the whole political and goverment system is ran by crooks. take my money and give it away or spend it to pay some crooked ceo is unjust in my opinion.

i also "heard" that the money for the new stimulus package was a loan from china??? as i said "thats what i heard". i dont watch the news anymore because its to darn depressing.

sorry for the rant but i have had a bad day!!!
