Might be able to talk the wife into this...Maybe, but getting up that early for her might be the doom of it all......

    Re: Couples Tournament

The early starts would not go over well with my wife either. I know this might not be an idea that will go over well with everyone, but, what about a 9AM to 2PM format? I think it would be easier to get my wife out for 5 hours of fishing instead of 8. I'll also have to convince her there is a new Macy's Store across from Rough River State Park!!! LOL

My wife was excited to hear about the couples tourmanments. That is she was excited when I told her she could have all the winnings to go shopping if we luck up and win one. She even said she would prefish!!!

    Re: Couples Tournament

Would love to fish this with my daughters. Just one note! need to put a revision in the rules for hitting the bank (sometimes they need a potty break) Got disqualified from a tourney with her for taking her back to the Dock for a restroom break...The locals were a bunch of up-tight jerks and got pizzed that i may take a little of the winnings (we fished a open tourney in Ohio close to my mother in-laws house) Sucked because we had a nice stringer and when it came time for weigh-in they wouldn't let us...Kept my cool (told the weigh master I WOULD BE BACK TO TALK WITH HIM ABOUT THIS)--But honestly had never wanted to open a can of whoop aZZ SO BAD in all my life!

Dropped the Kid off at Grammies -- went back and they had cleared out? She was 12 at the time and I was just happy to have her as a partner..She was excited because one of the 5 we had belonged to her--Bummed her out! But we just watch what we fish now and i usually talk it over the restroom break with the weigh master-- And all have been very understanding of my situation! But it is something us fellers take for granted!---sorry for rambling on--Venting--lol

Wife for rent! Husband provides boats, pays all entries, big fish pots and any other sundry expenses. Rented wife shows up, fishes, and handles all the proceeds.
