Pro David Wharton dies

David Wharton, an 11-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier from Texas, died of a heart attack Monday at age 59.

He fished the Bassmaster Tour full-time for 27 years (1979-2005) and won more than $800,000. The last of his four victories occurred in 2003 at Toledo Bend.

I remember Clunn having a step brother fishing, but I'm thinking it was Randy Fite.
