Watch Dave Wolak. He is catching spawning bass. Most others aren't. My pick to win.

    Re: The Classic Thread

Anyone tuned in this morning (silly question), I am not really digging this coverage thus far. I do not think KVD has much of a chance of making the final day with his 4 lb first day though. They do say "you can't win the Classic on the first day, but you can lose it". I believe he knows, as do quite a few others, that he lost it already.
The weights were right in line with the local guide they interviewed last week though. He said it would be VERY POSSIBLE to see it take 60-70 lbs to win this thing and he might be right on the money this weekend.
I have to mention the boat traffic, spectators, and how well they have seemed to respect the anglers and keep a decent distance. I have not heard any really bad stories about "obstuction" occuring, have any of you?? I would hate to see that decide such an event.
I know Kim has basically put herself out of it, but I hope she shows up and does better today....GO KIM!!!

Well, of all the times to have 'puter problems it had to happen to me yesterday evening. Well, I can post now so I wil;l see what I can find out.

Is anybody able to watch the weigh-ins live on ESPN360.com? I don't get it because my service provider does not offer it.

    Re: The Classic Thread

Final morning and they are on the water. Should be an interesting day. Fralick has been very consisten with back-to-back 19 pound bags. We will see what happens today. That cold front moved through last night and fishing could be a lot tougher today. They are calling for bright sunny day, temps up to 50's and wind at only five mph. Could make things tough.

Wolak and the others that are fishing pool 4 haven't been there long. Snowden, who is fishing the same area as Fralick, is dead in the water with lower unti problems.

    Re: The Classic Thread

Come on Ike, alhough i'd love to see the federation win! I can't beleive the size bags these guys r catching. I think following bassmaster on espn's website they do a nice job following and the coverage is good. But when i watch it on tv' it's nowhere near the coverage that's on the website. Anyway it's been fun following it...
