Welcome... You're right, this is a good board. It's the only fishing site I'm a member of. Folks on here will usually give you an answer to pretty much any fishing question you could have... Except nobody on here has ever told me how to consistently catch keeper bass at Taylorsville. I guess every site has it's limits...

Yes, welcome sir, welcome. I did the same thing, as I think most folks who post here did, probably contributes to quality of the board. Anyway I also have noticed that NO ONE seems to know how to consistently catch bass on T-Ville. I'm going to start pounding the feeders and the tailwaters (I got new waders with my tax return) in hopes of landing some of those feisty green trout! Would love to hear something about what the crappie in the lake do to.

Like you lil skeeter, I read this board for years with little or no participation on my part. Then finally this past December, I decided to become an active member for a few reasons. First, while there are a lot of very smart an experienced anglers here, I realized I also had something to add that could maybe make this board a bit more informative. Second, (and I'll use the old team concept here) a team can only succeed if every member does their part and contributes and I wasn't doing that before. So now, I'm here every day and adding my thoughts and ideas when I see I can contribute and getting even more enjoyment and education from fishin.com then ever before. If other anglers are out there reading this board and not contributing as much as you think you shouldl, give it a try and you'll see how much better this board is when everyone contibutes. Super glad to have onboard lil skeeter, and we're all looking forward to reading your thoughts and ideas.
