Went to town this morning and it was 48 degrees. Got back, was raining and 38 @4:00. Its 5:00 and its snowing and blowing so hard you cant see farther than 20 yds or so. This is at 1080 above sea level, on the ridge.
I just dont care, I'm fishin tomorrow. Cabin fever has me delerious

Just now cut out here. Ugly weather for fishing, great for watching the Cards peck the eyes out of the Bearcats!

Taylor, Larue, Marion county lines. We always get crazy weather on the ridge.
I work in Campbellsville, and the folks I work with look at me like I'm crazy when I report the weather on the ridge.
It has slacked off now, and 100 yds is the limit now.
During the ice storm, I called in to work for three days reporting "I cant get there". Campbellsville was clear, and it took us three days to get the road clear enough to get out in 2wd.
At 5:45, right now, there is 3/4" on ground and 1" on the porch, @ 31 degrees.

Col., I dont watch sports much like I used to. Can you give me any insight as to why the news stations have now started calling him Richard Patino, instead of Rick?

This all gives me time to work out the wax worm hotel. As easy as they make it out to be, I'll never (?) buy wax worms again, lol. Just received in the mail some of the fattest wax worms I have ever seen. Bait, plus a science lesson fore the kids.

Took the dog out for his morning (7am) "deuce drop" and it was blowing snow/flurries. Got an inch maybe a hair more. Maybe this will be the last of this stuff.

Richard Pitino is Rick's son and assistant since 2007. He is a spitting image of his pop and according to Rick yesterday morning he is a great recruiter. I hope this is the last of the nasty weather as well, I'm sick of being sick. If any of you folks from out of town come to the Ville watch out, we have a strep plague ravaging the city which will require a huge syringe in the butt cheek if you catch it.

Snow on the ground in cumberland countyalso. Will it ever end? Now I remember why we wintered in tx till march! Hey speaking aboit fishing bait, have you ever tried GRUBCO for wax worms and meal worms?. They are pretty reasonable, and those giant meal worms are something.

A little over 2" overnight and its been snowing for the past 45 minutes or so again. Maybe its Mother Natures last grasp at Winter.
Colonelmeyer, thanks for the clarification. I didn'tknow about his son. I thought, well, I read too much into it. Thanks for the heads up also, we had thought about coming up to do some shopping next weekend.
Hey kygorski, hadn't heard of them. I'll check them out. This last place I was tickled with. 1000 was $32 delivered. Big fatties and very few dead. I've read up on raising them. I started out thinking it would be a pain. My fishing buddy had done it quite a few years ago, and he told me "wasn't worth the trouble". From what I've read, seems too easy. Only thing that seems like it will take some security, is the fact that with the trouble the local honey producers are having, have to be careful and not let the moths escape. I bought all the things for the food mixture yesterday, and all together, maybe $10. If nothing else, the kids will get a kick out of it. Plus momma wont get as excited as our hatching snake eggs experiment last Summer.

Dont know a "thang" about raising bee moths. or wax worms. But pardon me while I degress, one of the bad things about aging is the fact that you like to bother other folks with trivial things. My last wife, collected a magazine called Mother Earth, never bothered with it myself, but its a rag for the original "green" folks.We were both city people. Well we moved from northern ind. and the wife said lets grow things.I'll quit now. But I tried raising red worms, and compost worms, disaster! Theres more, but memorys are sort of bitter at times.
