She met the criteria set forth by BASS that was set forth to make sure a woman was in the Classic. It really isn't that hard to understand. The Criteria for the Classic has been set for years, but BASS decided to make a spot for a woman PERIOD. Guys like Mark Menendez and other pro's are not allowed to fish the WBT! They can fish the Elite's and the Open's but not the WBT, there forre making sure that a woman was in the Classic.

I got to agree 100%, the spot was made strictly for a woman to fish in the Classic.....You all actually think a spot would be made for the Angler of the year on the Men's side of the Elite Series. To be able to fish the WBC...KVD was the AOY and he'd clean their clock with the women's tournament roster.... So if it's good for the women to get to fish teh Bass Master classic, then the AOY from the men's side should be able to fish the Women's Bass Master Classic...Period!!!!!!

Biggest mistake BASS has ever done to the spoirt of fishing....
