Think of heading to Kincaid in last week or March my sons spring break. What is it like in late March some lakes are better early spring lakes than others just curious.

If you are going to make a "trip" out of it I would go somewhere where the fishing is halfway reliable in the spring. Kincaid has some monsters in it, no doubt, but its a crap shoot at best to get one of them. Go to barren river or ky lake and make a nice little trip out of it.
Buzzking's right. I was there late April one year and the only bite I got all day was from a 7 lber. It took 18 lbs and some change to win our club tourney that day. Guy only had 4 fish too. I fished that place for two years straight, only can remember one nice fish, little over 5 pounds. That place is beat to death, you can throw a lure and the fish will tell you where you bought it at and the brand name.
I also talked to other people that catch alot there unless they are full of it. If you are not traveling far what the heck better than a good day at work, give it a shot.
