The boat ran great. Had his console X135 go down but it's probably just a fuse or something. I think I've talked him into upgrading to gps anyway. Catch that big one on a rattlebait?

Thanks man! Sounds like you had a great time too! How's the boat running?Congrats Bill on the tournament and that monster fish. We had a good trip as well. Got down there around noon on Wed. and then got rained out half a day on Friday. Had three full days catching 67 bass with 32 keepers. Two big fish for the trip was 5.82 and a 6.04. Yesterday was our best day catching 27 with 13 keepers. 9 of the 13 were over 3lbs with three of those being over 4. Great way to start out the 09 season.
I sure wish I would have been blind hog lucky!!!!!! I left today with the great snow and wind coming in!!! Screw that! Drive home wasn't real fun but made it.
Glad to see you did so well----man ol man----a 10 lber. Bet that was awesome!
Man, congratulations on the hog, and 3rd place finish, must of been very exciting for you. I am heading down to Gunthersville for the first time at the end of this month, and hoping I can catch one close to yours. If you have any suggestions or tips you would not mind sharing, sure would appreciate it, for now we are planning on just ripping traps thru the grass, and maybe throwing some watermellon candy wacky rigged senkos. Thanks
Congrats on the 3rd finish and GREAT job on the 10.8 is that your biggest?

Hey Bill, I seen that 10lber. Nice fish. What was also impressive was the winning co-angler weight of 33lbs with two 8lbers in his bag. Did I mention it was his first BFL and he was only 17 years old. He was smiling ear to ear. I wasn't as fortunate. I went as a co-angler and only had about 8lbs and my boater zeroed.
Bill
Shannon wanted you to win some of that southern money. With that third place finish, you will now return to Cumberland, and donate it to the Devere fund. Only kidding...... Great Job
You are my hero and I need some big hog lessions. Are you available for any Kentucky Lake lessions?
