Just looking for any advice on finding Largemouth during March and April on Herrington Lake. I'm not familiar with this lake at all. The KDFWR Fishing Forecast says to fish the Upper Lake (closer to the river as opposed to the dam) and fish shoreline cover. I plan on renting a pontoon boat with some friends from work. Where should we put in to get at the bass in the upper lake? What lures do you recommend? Should I fish points, secondary points or pockets with cover? Any info on what general area of the lake would be appreciated as well. I'll be taking a few people that don't fish and want to get them hooked on fishing. So, hopefully we will find some fish!
