I can't tell you how many of these I've heard about over the last several years. This is why I use Halcombs or Pumpkin Creek 90% of the time. I've have even heard of some things happening at Pumkin creek ramp sometimes to. But there is a Park Ranger patrolling that one most of the time now. I've talked to him quite a few times, heck of a nice guy, packs a hog leg to.

I was at Lilly Creek ramp one night and was killing time before I was to meet APB to catch some linesides at night. It was probably after 1 o'clock and I was to meet him at Jamestown. I wanted to see the new ramp the Corp built in Lilly as a again I was early and that night we were fishing out of Andrew's boat. I park my truck and walk down to the bottom of the ramp and was looking around and now there is a good distance between me and my truck. A boat came by and stopped there in front of the ramp close, a couple of fellas talking and casted a few times then took off. Well somebody hiding in the woods must have thought they picked me up because about as soon as that boat got out of sight and I turned to walk back up the hill to go back to my truck I see a little pin light come easing out of the wood line and towards my truck. I think Huh, what's that all about, so I keep walking and about the time I'm about 75 to 100 feet away that light is right beside my truck shineing on it and in it the best I could tell. I yell.... Hey What Do you Need There.... the little light goes off and I can't here or see a thing, I begin to walk faster towards the truck but being very cautious as I head that way. When I get to my truck I see or here nothing not a peep. I can feel whomever it was has now eased back in the woods and is just laying low. I got the heck out of there as this was a little bit scary and I had no weapon with me. I was the only vehicle in that area that night at that time and I won't be back, it was down right eerry, shook me up a little. Since then I know of at least three or four different instances where people have had stuff stolen and or vandalized there.
