we fish some KBF, FLW, and some local club tourney's . . . We just started up this year and Nathan knows more about the tournaments than I do, honestly the way they all intertwine and the levels you have to go to get to the top confuse the hell out of me so he let's me know when we have tourney's and I work on the sponsorship and web page site of the deal LOL. Nathan is the better fisherman but I'm the one that is gonna try to get us fishing for free so I'm more important haha. I run my own company so I'm a better people person, Nathan just wants to fish. Can't fault him for that though! Where are you located Shawn?

Getting them to cut a check is very hard. Go local first try to get some local sponsors for money they will be easier than the big guys. Maybe KVD will cut you some off his check from toyota lol

Looks real good guys! You need to run a spell check on your sponsorship page. Noticed a misspelled word right off the bat. Keep at it, someone will pick you up. Don't loose heart in the current economic times. Companies are real tight with the budget and it may take some creative marketing on your part to make a fit.
Could be as simple as using someones company fleet card for gas at tournaments. Free lunch or dinners at restaurants. Buying tackle at cost with some of the local tackle shops? Any little bit will help you out so don't write it off if they tell you no when you ask for cash. You may just have to take a little bit at first. As you get press coverage! Show it off to them, Frame it. Send it to them let them know they are getting exposure! Just don't kick an American flag in the drink ! Honestly if your serious and at your age, Allot of folks want to help you succeed in your dreams!
