Had a pair of Monster Dogs with Shallow Blue lenses last season. Absolutely hated them. Color is distorted at times and glare, even when facing away from the sun, will make you dizzy when there is a light chop to the water. Also, on hot days, the lenses would fog up because of the design of the frame and no ventiliation. I would have to take them off or wipe them off every 10 minutes or so. If you're gonna drop the cash, get some Costa Del Mars. When I dumped my Oakleys I got a pair of Costas and will never own another brand of sunglasses again.
I have heard that the Deep Blue lens that Oakley makes is good. I have not worn them though, and never will.
My vote is for Native brand glasses. For less than a pair of oakleys or costas you can get Natives that come with a lens kit of three additional lenses to go with the polarized grey lenses. The only downside is that they do not have a lifetime warranty.
i like okley's i have the amber color and love them they are the best i think by far from all the other glasses i have wore. have not tryed the blue but i think you cant go wrong with okley's.
I second Costa Del Mars. They are absolutely amazing. I compared Costas side by side with Oakleys, Ray Ban, you name it, and Costas were hands down the best for the money. I personally have the Gray lenses, which are pretty good for just about any light condition. I would recommend the green mirror if you're fishing a lot of wide water.
Amen Bassin Buck.........amen.
