smallmouth on barren

i had ben going to barren since i could walk till high school. and never seen or cought a smallmouth. but last year in the fall i cought a couple of good ones and had a 5 to 6 pounder at the boat and it spit my crank back at me before we could get the net. and that was in peter creek up by the bridge.

well he blew a crank back at me or it cam un hooked what ever you want to call it. it didnt get landed. but i still have a mental picture of it.
